141st Sri Ramana Jayanthi 2021

Ramana Kendra, Mylapore, Chennai is a place where Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi's devotees practice Bhagavan's teachings on a daily basis. Devotees offer worship to Bhagavan and chant the parayanam of devotional hymns on and by Bhagavan. Celebrations of various annual functions on occasions such as Bhagavan's Jayanthi and Aradhana also take place with the participation of devotees.

As a boy of sixteen in 1896, he challenged death by a penetrating enquiry into the source of his being. Later hailed as Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi he revealed the direct path of practice of Self-enquiry and awakened mankind to the immense spiritual power of the holy Arunachala Hill, the spiritual heart of the world.
